This Privacy Policy explains how Crappin' Ain't Easy ("CAE", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address, a username, and an optional profile photo.
• Gameplay data. Craps sessions, shooters, individual dice rolls, events, trips, bankroll figures, and points you choose to track in the app.
• Group and team data. If you join or create a group, we collect the group name, membership, and shared session activity visible to that group.
• Launch notification sign-ups. If you ask to be notified when our iPhone and Apple Watch apps launch, we collect the email address you submit and use it only to send that notice.
• Venue and loyalty data. Casino venues and loyalty program names you choose to add to your profile.
• Device and usage data. Basic technical information such as app version and general usage patterns, used to keep the Service working reliably.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including session tracking, stats, and cloud sync.
• Let you sync your data across your own devices.
• Support group and team features you choose to use.
• Diagnose problems, fix bugs, and improve the Service.
• Communicate with you about your account when necessary.

Cloud Sync & Local Storage

If you're signed in, your session, event, and profile data is stored securely using Supabase, our backend data provider, so it can sync across your devices. If you use the Service without an account, your data is kept locally on your device only and is not sent to our servers.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• With your group. If you join a group, your username, group activity, and shared session data are visible to other members of that group.
• Service providers. We use trusted providers such as Supabase for hosting and data storage, under contracts that limit how they may use your data.
• Legal reasons. If required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CAE, our users, or others.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud-synced data at any time from the Profile screen in the app using the "Delete account" option. This action cannot be undone.

Your Choices

You can review and edit your profile information at any time in the app. You can also leave any group you've joined, or use the Service without creating an account to keep your data local to your device only.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Not a Gambling Service

Crappin' Ain't Easy is a personal tracking and statistics tool. It does not facilitate real-money wagering, does not process bets, and is not a casino or gambling operator.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the Service.
